Beauty and Health Gains of Pedicure:

pedicureLast week when I look at my feet they remind me of my childhood, It was the time when I didn’t care what I’m wearing or that I have dust traffic on my feet, all I was interested in was playing. That was the privileged age when we were granted with a caring mother who clean us up thoroughly after our playing routine. Oh, I forget, I was talking about my feet. Summer has started here and under loads of work I dis remember about my manicures and pedicures. It really was time for me to reward me with a soothing pedicure. I was very attached to my Grandma and she has a lot of recipes for a pedicure. Because of this attachment to my Grandma, I am positive that women can give themselves the best pedicure, they do not need a salon for this.

Operation Zero:

The step zero of a pedicure is that you should remove all the remains of earlier applied nail polish and shape your nails. We do nails before getting our feet wet because when people get drunk they lost their balance and collapse and  similar is the doings of nails.

Operation 1:

A lot of good natural ingredients are usable for home pedicure. A pedicure is set out with soaking your feet in water amalgamated with different things. You can mix these things with water to soak your feet

  • Table Salt
  • Sea Salt
  • Baking Soda
  • Shampoo
  • Dish washing lotion
  • Bath Lotion
  • Milk
  • Essential Oils
  • Vinegar
  • Turnip

Warm water is more effective than cold or hot water. Add one type of salt, one type of lotion and one type of essential oil you want. Soak your feet for 20 to 30 minutes max. If your feet do not need much cleaning you can soak them for less time.

Milk has lactic acid in it, it helps in removing dead skin.

Salt nourish your foot skin prevent it from aging and improve the skin color. It hydrates the skin, increases moisture retention, promotes cellular regeneration, detoxifies the skin, and helps heal dry, scaling, irritated skin. Salt water bathing reduces inflammation of the muscles and joints, relaxes muscles and relieves pain and soreness.

We all know shampoo or lotions you use soften your skin and dirt so the dirt can be removed easily.

If you have problem of toenail fungus you can add vinegar to water.

A recipe for pedicure used in South Asia and India for baby like skin of feet is, boil Turnip in water when it reaches to 30 to 35 degree Celsius soak your feet in it for about 30 minutes. Turnip can give your skin softness like skin of a baby. Do try this, I am writing this because I have tried it and it works.

Operation 2:

After the water bath we exfoliate our feet. Give them massage it’ll make your feet happy :). Scrub the skin with lufa. Scrubbing will detach the dirt and dead skin from  your skin. It’ll increase blood circulation in your foot. Scrub your paw this area has tendons that are often tense, and easing these knotted tendons can be truly relaxing.

Operation 3:

Now moisturize your feet with your favorite moisturizer. Massage your feet well it’ll give moisture to your skin. You have about 7,000 nerves in your feet that needs to be energized, foot massage is not only important for beauty of your feet but also very powerful and extremely relaxing for your body. Foot massage can facilitate you in anxiety.

While massaging, try giving yourself pressure point therapy. One important pressure point that is situated on both feet is the solar plexus reflex. The solar plexus is sort of a little warehouse where all your stress is stored. When the solar plexus point is pressed on, stress is released and the body is renewed. Here I am adding an image which will help understand your pressure points.
